The 2008/2009 season kicks off with 2 FREE Orchestral Skills workshops open to young players of any standard (Grade 3 +) on any orchestral or ‘big band’ instrument.  Come and Join us on 15th Nov at Queen Katherine school, Kendal and 16th Nov at Trinity School. Carlisle.

 

An ideal opportunity to get a taste of what we do, work with our professional conductor & Instrumental teachers and play alongside our existing members.

The centerpiece for this season’s concert is going to have a ‘Big Band’ flavour.  The Orchestra, along with some additional players (saxophones and rhythm section) will be playing some Nelson Riddle compositions and arrangements written for “The Rat Pack”.
